Stormwater BMP Compliance Services


ADH has comprehensive experience in addressing the complexities of evaluation of structural or programmatic BMP implementation, evaluation or assessments, including, but not limited to, the following:
- Preparation, evaluation and maintenance of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs)
- Structural BMP effectiveness design, monitoring and evaluation
- Programmatic BMP implementation, effectiveness evaluation and corrective solutions
- Performing facility reviews of existing stormwater-related documents and procedures
- Conducting facility site inspections
- Industrial General Permit SWPPP facilities inspections
- Municipal Separate Stormwater Sewer System (MS4) Permit SWPPP facilities inspections
- Assisting clients with addressing Notice of Violation requirements
- Providing guidance on implementing specific structural, operational or cultural changes to improve BMP performanc
- Performing facility audit score sheets for pertinent state and federal regulations with recommendations for future compliance
Clients that ADH staff has performed BMP programs for include municipalities (joint and individual permittees) the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), a large public utility provider, the U.S. Navy, port districts and commercial/ industry clients. Our staff has performed BMP efficacy studies under U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), State Water Resource Control Board (SWRCB), or Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) mandated National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), Phase I and II permitted programs. Most of these studies have been empirical in design and/or have incorporated proven BMP methods that are always dynamic and pro-active in conceptualization through completion.
